Oscar-winning producer Will Vinton is turning over a new leaf and pursuing his lifelong passion for the stage while continuing his remarkable track record focused on music and comedy in entertainment. In addition to his role as a pioneer of 3D animation, creator of "Claymation” and founder of world-renowned Will Vinton Studios, Will has written, directed, and/or produced some of pop culture's best-known comic characters including the singing and dancing phenomenon “The California Raisins”, dinosaur critics “Herb and Rex,” and the ever-popular M&Ms "Red" and "Yellow". Each of Will’s projects has been an exploration of musical comedy in animation - and nearly everyone has garnered prestigious awards - several hundred in total. In addition to an Oscar for his film “Closed Mondays”, Will has received four additional Academy Award Nominations and eight Prime-time Emmys for Outstanding Animated Programs. Will has also won numerous CLIOs for advertising and many prestigious international awards including the Cannes' Golden Lion. Will now turns his attention to Broadway, with stellar music and theater associates like David Pomeranz.
David Pomeranz is one of the most successful and prolific songwriters and recording artists on the scene today. His songs and solo albums have sold over 40 million copies and have earned him a total of 18 Gold and 22 Platinum records worldwide. His songs and scores have been featured in many hit shows in New York and London, including “A Tale of Two Cities”, “Time”, “Little Tramp”, “Under The Bridge” and most recently, the Tony-nominated “Scandalous”. His songs have been performed and recorded by countless artists including Bette Midler, Freddie Mercury, Rapper Missy Elliott, Clay Aiken, Richie Sambora (of Bon Jovi), Lea Salonga, Mel Brooks, and Barry Manilow (whose versions of David’s “Tryin’ To Get The Feeling Again”, and “The Old Songs” were both mega-selling hits.) and his recent multi-platinum-selling album, "Born For You", has reached 10 ten times Platinum status. A Composer of songs for Movies ("Big", "King Kong") and Television (he’s an Emmy Award Nominee) he continues to record albums and tour the globe performing live concerts for millions of enthusiastic fans.
John Ripper has had a 30 year career in television and commercial production. He has been a producer and director for PBS networks in Maryland, Chicago and Oregon, worked on syndication and cablecast series while working in the entertainment business Los Angeles. In 1988, John co-founded Tyee Productions in Portland, Oregon, where it became recognized as an award winning film and video production company under his guidance as CEO. Ever expanding its services, Tyee went on to establish itself nationally as a leader in direct advertising agency with over several hundred full time employees and free-lance crew. Three years ago, John joined Vinton Entertainment as COO where he has been actively involved in developing and producing the company’s motion picture and theatrical entertainment properties.
Corey Brunish and Brisa Trinchero
Corey Brunish, with partner Brisa Trinchero, has been a very active actor, producer and director of theater productions since the 1980’s. He began on the performing side then expanded into producing when he teamed up with partner Brisa Trinchero. In 2012, he was a producer for Broadway shows "Peter and the Starcatcher" and "Porgy and Bess". Of the 10 Broadway shows Brunish and partner Trinchero have been involved in the last 3 seasons, their shows have garnered a total of 62 nominations, winning a total of 21 Tonys. He received a Tony as producer when "Porgy and Bess" won for Best Musical Revival in 2012. In the 2013-2014 Broadway season, Brunish and Trinchero are producers on three current musicals, "Pippin" , musical bio of Carole King called "Beautiful" and a bio of Janis Joplin titled "One Night With Janis Joplin".
Ashley Roland and Jamey Hampton

Gene Dent has created set and lighting designs for many of the NW regions most memorable productions. He most recently designed sets and lighting for the Broadway Rose production of Always...Patsy Cline and created lighting designs for Drowsy Chaperone and Sound of Music. He received two 2012 PAMTAs for the sets and lights for Ripper. He has served as lighting designer for BODYVOX, Pixie Dust Productions, and opera companies in Vancouver, Seattle and New Orleans.
Rick Lewis is an experienced, highly-sought music director. He wrote the hit Off-Broadway musical The Taffetas, the sequel, The Cardigans--Those Swingin' Singin' Guys from Alpha Mu Phi Pi, (Backstage New York Bistro Award - Outstanding Musical Revue), and Have a Nice Day! -- A 70's Musical Flashback. Most recently, Rick served as musical director/conductor for Portland Center Stage’s acclaimed production of Fiddler on the Roof and musical director/conductor for the world premier/pre-Broadway production of Somewhere in Time. Rick was vocal director and assistant conductor Cy Coleman’s The Life (Pre-Broadway, Westbeth Theatre).
Nicholas Mahon is a New York based theatrical designer. He has worked with world renown production designer Michael Curry on projects for Cirque Du Soleil, Walt Disney Entertainment, Universal Studios and many others. He is currently collaborating with Blue Man Group on the development of new national and international productions.
Jon Newton has worked variously as composer, conductor, performer, and teacher. He toured the US and Canada for years as a bluegrass fiddler, performing and recording with Mason Williams, Colin Raye, Ray Wiley Hubbard, and other country music stars. In the 80’s Jon formed a forward-looking music production company, Newton/Bard, with jazz musician Michael Bard, and the pair produced scores for five theatrically-released feature films along with hundreds of commercials and videos. One of Jon’s clients was Will Vinton Studios; as it happens, Jon joined the staff there in 1994 as a music and creative director. Recently, he has pursued a lifelong dream of teaching college and is instructing in music production along with history and music theory at Portland State University.

He and his team are branding specialists, creating strategic promotions, logotypes and marketing graphics for clients throughout the United States. His work has been featured in Communication Arts, Graphis, Print, Idea and How magazines, and received awards from the One Show, the Designer’s Round Table, the STA 100, The Graphic Artist’s Guild. and the AIGA Illustrator’s Annual.
